Proctor 360
Online Remote Test Administration Option (to take the test in your own home)
If you prefer to take the test in person with a proctor at your school, do not sign up with Proctor360. Proctor360 is only used for taking the test online from your home.
The following schools REQUIRE their students to use Proctor360 for the FLATS tests:
- Chapman University
- CUNY School of Professional Studies
- Florida Atlantic University
- Florida Polytechnic University
- Indian River State College
- Moody Bible Institute
- Point Loma Nazarene University
- University of Colorado
The following schools do NOT allow proctoring with Proctor360:
- Florida International University: You must take the exam with one of FIU’s proctors. Please follow the instructions that your university has provided you.
- University of Central Florida: You must take the exam with one of UCF’s proctors. Please follow the instructions that your university has provided you.
- University of Central Oklahoma: You must take the exam through UCO. Also, you are not allowed to take the FLATS test for Spanish, French or German.
- California State University-Bakersfield: You must take the exam with CSUB. Please contact Lou Montano (lmontano@csub.edu) to set up a time for your exam.

THE FLATS TESTING OFFICE IS OPEN 9:00 A.M. TO 5:00 P.M. (MST) MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY (CLOSED ON HOLIDAYS AND DURING SEMESTER BREAKS).
Proctor 360 is a secure remote proctoring service that has been approved to proctor the FLATS test. If you choose to be proctored in this manner, you will need to indicate so on your registration. Note that for this proctoring option, you will need to have access to a camera and microphone (laptops work great). There is a button on the registration page that will autofill everything you need for the proctor section of the registration to aid in the ease of selecting this service.
After registering for the FLATS test, and waiting 3 business days (to allow time for Proctor360 to receive your password), please go to proctor360.com/flats to sign up for a time for the exam. Please note that if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment with Proctor360, you will need to do that at least 24 hours beforehand or you will forfeit your $20 proctoring fee with Proctor 360. Be aware that cancelling with Proctor 360 is not the same as cancelling with the FLATS Testing Office, so please reach out to both parties if you no longer wish to take the exam.
